Cook, Kinesiology) is seeking volunteers ages 30-50 with healthy body conditions and low daily fiber intake (less than 15g/day) for a research study examining the effects of Brewers' Spent Grain (BSG) fiber on gut microbiome and metabolic markers. Eligible participants complete health questionnaires, a body composition test, donate stool and blood samples, and take a BSG fiber supplement. Allergy alert: do not participate if allergic to wheat, barley, or gluten. Participation is compensated with a $300 gift card. IRB-approved.
